The 4 US Opens finals are compared to other US Open finals only. I have not contradicted myself in anyway. What I have said is ESPN is perfectly fine with tennis or without but either way there just fine. I have not once speculated on the future of tennis I have said based on the tv ratings the tv ratings are not improving like you say they are. The US Open has about the same rating the last 10 years. (yes that does mean the last 4 US Open finals are the lowest rated US Open finals which shows how poor the finals rating has been the last 10 years) I have not said tennis is hopeless or anything to that nature once again all I said is based on tv ratings tennis doesn't appear to be getting more popular. Could I be wrong no question about it I could be wrong. The whole point of bringing up the tv ratings in the 1st place was to show you that in the major finals they are not improving year to year. Could more people be watching during the week? maybe, I don't know, I cant find any tv ratings for the week the only ones I can find are for the finals. I would gladly expect defeat if I can be proven wrong. I would also greatly appreciate if you weren't so rude and disrespectful towards me. You may disagree with me but that doesn't give an excuse to be disrespectful towards someone else.

How am I taking any of your nonsense out of context, you moron? You stated that ESPN does not need tennis and dropping it would not hurt ESPN!!!! Now you are contradicting yourself stating only currently not the future potential of Tennis!!!! If Tennis is so hopless which it is NOT, you should go tell ESPN, 1Bowler215. These 4 lowest rated US Open finals that you are referring to are compared to what? What are you comparing it to? Other US Open finals? Fishing? the Super Bowl? LOL When Americans make there move into the top ten in both the ATP and WTA we will see higher ratings!!!! It is NOT just television ratings that tell the whole story!!!! There are other factors like social media and merchandising of tennis related products!!!! I am listening to your pointless hilarious nonsense!!!! Once again now get this straight!!!! The people in charge of marketing for ESPN and the Tennis Channel see growth in the raw data for the sport of Tennis!!!! You can continue to look at tennis through your silly narrow-minded point of view, but tennis is growing in the US!!!!
