~ I know! I love "Dream On" but "Sweet Emotion" is special because my husband & I had it played at the end of our wedding as the party walked back out. Why? I'll try to make this long story short...I became sick with an incurable & fatal disease when I was 16 years old. I was told that I had 5 to 10 years left to live as my body would slowly deteriorate until I was in a vegetative state & the only form of being able to communicate with others would be through blinking my eyes. My husband & I had been dating a few months & he was told the news & told that if he wanted to end our relationship, I would understand but if he did want to end it to please do so at that time. My husband's response was that he wasn't going anywhere but forward in life with me. He later proposed to me on the beach on my 18th birthday. It had become difficult for me to walk at that time & I soon went into a wheelchair. Then, suddenly, after 2 years of hoping, praying & believing a cure would be given to me, my neurologists & other specialists informed me that I was a great candidate for a bone marrow transplant that if successful would stop the disease I had from progressing, my health would not worsen & my life would be saved. As I underwent the transplant, I was given a 50/50% chance of survival. With full support from my family & at that time, fiance & with my strong faith in Jesus, I fought death, received new bone marrow from a complete stranger but a perfect match to me as a donor & I won. The transplant was 100% successful & I received my cure. Are ya emotional yet? A couple of months after my 21st birthday, I was able to walk in, stand through the ceremony of the marriage to my one & only "Angel" & walk out with him by my side, as always, as Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" played loudly in the background. So, now you know why I didn't choose "Dream On". My dream came true! And I truly hope your's does, as well! ~ Added comment under your question on my page so it's a bit late! Sorry!

That would be so SWEET! I'm in Charleston, SC. My husband and I will be driving up to ATL if we are lucky enough to get tickets! If you were closer we could have taken turns babysitting for each other! :-) At least they are coming to your city! That's awesome!

If I had been in this position, I would have chosen "Sweet Emotion," too, probably because it was our prom theme in 1978! All are great songs...spanning a long career. Congrats to the winner and congrats to all of us fans for getting to enjoy this music for all of these years! Fun contest!

damn, another day/hour/minute i would have picked "dream on". when i was picking my bracket, the biggest challenge was the last. I don't know how many times i changed my mind between "dream on" & "sweet emotion". that is my luck, which ever i chose would be the wrong one. How do you pick a best song between the 2? When you want to rock, u roll with "sweet emotion", when you're feelin mellow u roll with "dream on" . You really can't have 1 without the other? Congrats.

I can remember seeing them at canobie lake park in salem NH. ( FOR FREE) summer of 1973. Been a huge fan ever since.

Last time I saw the guys was 2009 in Pittsburgh. Did the meet and greet with Steven and Joe, and it was an incredible time. I showed them my Aerosmith tattoo - Steven offered to sign it for me, and said it was one he had never seen before. Joe signed it too, and I had their signatures tattooed in so I have a permanent reminder. I hope they add a Pittsburgh show this year! I will be backstage for sure!!

I first saw Aerosmith in 1975 or 76 at the St. Paul Civic Center in St. Paul Minnesota. Tickets were $12.00 each and we bought them at the door a half hour before the concert. Our seats were crappy, we were behind the stage, but Steven Tyler did an amazing job of not only singing to the arena, but turning around and singing to us too!!! This was my first concert ever, but definitely not the last. I have seen them many times over the years, but the last time was the Pink tour, so it's been a while.

I too had trouble voting when the page either stayed in the load mode or otherwise couldn't figure out where to navigate to to get where I had to for the purpose. Not a big deal, though. Hopefully there will be a next time and I'll get in if I don't this time, which is highly unlikely anyway, though I'm not giving up yet! But anyway, that's life, you win some and lose some and that's how it goes.

I went with what I though the civilians would pick, which was "I don't wanna miss a thing". So it killed me in points. Oh well conrats to whomever wins. I've been an Aerosmith fan for a very long time, I've seen them on every tour starting in 1977 in Providence RI with Styx opening the show.I think I paid around $7.25 for my ticket. Seen them alot, over 60 shows Through the ups and downs, and also with Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay. i'm just glad i'm going to see them one last time before it's too late. It doesn't matter.. Ive never won anything.. I wouldnt even be able to win a stick of gum. Ive seen Aerosmith so many times in concert but always in noise bleed section. I even spent my last dollar to go to vegas to see them. Didn't even get to play the slots that weekend. My only dream is to meet Steven Tyler..but it will never happen.I just don't have that kind of luck..oh well. :(

Hello Again Everyone ! I'm not giving up on my dream to see Aerosmith. In all the 37+, yeh 37+ years I've been an Aerosmith fan I have never gotten to see them in concert ! ! ! I wanted to buy tickets this time around but I'm unemployed and broke. So, I when I saw this contest I jumped on it. I'm hoping for a miracle. Maybe they could do a sweepstakes of sorts, randomly draw winners by ticket # . . . I don't know. What I do know is I WANT TO SEE AEROSMITH before I get too old to go to a concert and they are too old to play a concert, for goodness sakes. But like they say . . You're never too old to rock n' roll (at least at heart) and I must agree with that one ! ! ! Maybe if everyone posts "WE WANT TO SEE AEROSMITH", everyone who does will get tickets!!! I'll settle for nose bleed seats, I don't care . . . I just wanta see them. What do you think?

Could someone please explain to me what the purpose of weekly voting is for? If you can't change your original "bracket" then why not just have one vote and that's it. I basically am out of the contest because I misunderstood the contest and picked my favorites not the general publics. If I had known if was based on overall commerical songs then I would have done much better. So, why have me suffer everyweek when I can't change my choices??? I think they should have explained this contest a little better, but maybe that's just me. I did contact support at Aeroforce One, but by the time they responded I had already sent in my entry to be on time. When they did respond, they told me to contact tourneytopia for answers. Whatever!! Not too happy about the way this tour's ticket purchases were handled, either. I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing thing. Well, had to get that off of my chest!!

The irony of my current standings is that I don't really like the song I Don't Want To Miss a Thing. I just picked it for my bracket because it's so popular. I should have weighed the fact that real Aerosmith fans are competing here-- not just people who had that as their wedding song, etc.

Anybody that has half a mind can tell soneone is manipulating the voting. For instance in the present round if you look at matchup #1 and #6 there are 9000 votes compared to 500 for the others, so who ever is cheating has those two on their card. You cannot convince me someone is not manipulating the votes because the number of votes wouls be close to the same, if not. Hopefully they will get found out because the people that run this have rules in place to check this sort of thing. Someone has or built a robot to do this.

I don't understand what this whole set up thru ticketmaster was all about. I have been in the fanclub over ten years and have been to 42 shows, congrats to 100!! Anyway, I was totally frustrated with the pre-sale thing. I couldn't afford to go VIP, but it has always been set up where you can purchase regular tickets thru the club and a seat was assigned based on seniority. In addition, when the tickets were mailed, they would include a t-shirt, pin, and other cool stuff. This time I was freaking out that the only tickets available were VIP for presale, and that I had to wait until the 30th when the tickets were available to everyone. Even then I was trying to get tickets thru AF1 and was still seeing just VIP. Anyway, I wound up going directly through Ticketmaster and received terrible seats and am not happy at all with this whole ticket processing thing. Does anybody know if this is how it will be from now on? If so, I may as well cancel my membership, what will be the benefit unless I can afford to pay 1300.00 for a ticket!!!

I picked Dude over Mama Kin just cause I thought that would win. But, the others you listed in your comment, I voted the same as you. And, I am not a 13 year old girl. I'm bummed cause I chose Eat the Rich over King and Queens. Once again, I voted the way I thought others would. I love King and Queens and it won! Okay people - some of y'all are upset because your favs didn't get picked. You ought to have considered that this is a contest open to the "General American Public" not just us diehard fans. Last comment from me. I seen alot of dedicated members having trouble with there fan club seats. Over 10 years ago they switched the fan club base and it screwed up alot of members like me who were getting great seats . I couldnt even get one and got all pissy. Instead of being grateful for the other excellant seats i got for cheap prices and not to mention Aerosmith completely kicking ass every night i decided the lawn seats my friend had were not good enough. I chose not to go and they wound up being the first band ever to have a stage in the lawn to play a few. they played come together , a song i always wanted to see. Got to see it on a bootleg my friend video taped Just Pushed Play, but still not the same. Lesson to that is no matter what happens with the fan club GO anyway . You may not have the seats you want but be grateful of seats past and make the best of what you have. P.S. Why isn't Come Together on this list. I know it was not written by Aerosmith but so should be included. And i hope Aerosmith swings around to Philadelphia again after this stop like there other tours of over 100 shows.

Hi, I agree that that was totally out of line, and you do deserve better seats, especially if you bought the tickets right once they came out. But I am SO interested to hear your story about being an Aerosmith fan for 35 years and going to over 100 Aerosmith concerts! I mean, thats INCREDIBLE! EXPLAIN THIS!! AEROSMITH or AEROFORCEONE Fan club member for 25 years, Fan for OVER 35 YEARS, 100+ Aerosmith concerts. I purchase Ultra Sweet SDpot Tickets and GET 9TH ROW? Doesnt seniority count for anything? Out of the 100+ shows, THESE ARE THE WORST SEATS I HAVE EVER HAD FOR AEROSMITH. AEROFORCEONE needs to go back to the old way of selling tickets. Cant beleive that I had a 9am BUY TIME and was on immediately and got 9th row. Figured I would write a letter to AFO and to the Bands management. AFO basically said they would be fielding the complaints. Aerosmiths management didnt even have the courtesy to reply. Then they release a contest for wheels up giveaway!!?? How about setting up fans like myself with these tickets. 25 YEARS OF FANCLUB MEMBERSHIP FEES and I GET 9TH ROW. Not sure who reads these posts. If a band member or someone of authorityreads these. I have 3 tickets for the July 1st show from Ultra Sweet Spot.... If you cant upgrade the seat location, atleast set the 3 of us with the meetngreet with Steven and Joe. Again, 25 year AFO member, 35 year FAN and 100+ shows!!!! Am I asking for too much!? I am disabled and barely can afford these seats. I too, suffer from Mortons Neuroma and osteoarthritis and disability checks barely cover anythign, so buying the ultra sweet spot, was tough ebnoug financially , then to find out that I got 9th row, was a kick in the face. hoping someone reads this and does the right thing. When I was 14 I listened to my first Rock n Roll Album-It was Dream On-I was hooked all the way and still am. I am now 54 years old and I would love to meet Steven Tyler just once. I lost a brother to addiction and he wrote the lyrics to "Amazing" (my brother)in his last letter to my sister-she didn't get it but I sure did. I was 2 years into my new life when he passed. I have been living happy, joyous, and free for almost 16 years. Aerosmith will always have a special place in my heart. That experience allowed me to have an unspoken forgiveness for the both of us-I understood how my brother felt-he expressed himself in those lyrics and he loved the band. Choosing the favorite songs all has to do when one became an Aerosmith fan. Those who became aware of the band in the 1970s will more than likely rate songs very differently than those who became fans in the later decades. I myself continue to choose Seasons of Wither, and this is a song that ONLY the true fans know. There are so many great songs. Also love, I Don't Want to Miss A Thing, but the band didn't write it, Diane Warren did.

It is so hard to pick out one song from the other. These are all Aersomth babies and I love em all !!!! At the same time the taste of the 70's Aerosmith just proves how important this band was and still is for the Rock n Roll development in the 80's 90's and up til today. Aerosmith are back in the saddle and that my friends is all we need to know, They are the Sherifs in this Rockn Roll town!!!

I'm an old school fan, literally. Still recall listening to TOYS on the school record player on headphones with my pals, when the librarian thought it was the Classical record we checked out. This is a tough one...I've been listening to their entire catologue the last week and there are no bad songs. Nobody did it, nobody does it like the boys of Aerosmith (Boys! They're sixty+!!! - damn I'm getting old) Ive barely missed a tour since my High School days, maybe 2-3 tours...and every one was great - even when they were all High and/or the tour when Perry was absent (had $20 5th row seats for that one) Winning this would be a life-long dream come true...could say I finally met the few Rock and Roll Stars that ever mattered to me, and who can still kick out the jams...!!! These tickets would mean the world to me!!! Being a bass player myself I had to pick Sweet Emotion. Best riff ever by Mr. Sweet Emotion hinself Tom Hamilton. I am am an old school fan myself so most of this was a hard to pick but had to go with mostly bass lines. Can't wait to see them in concert again!

An old school Aerosmith fan like myself has a hard time with a bracket like this, because I tend to lean toward the 70's music as opposed to the 80's and newer stuff. I hope the new fans have a real appreciation for the roots of Aerosmith! I also hope the new album gets back to the raw and hard edge that the band had in the early days!

I didn't always vote for what my personal choice would be so much as I tried to pick what I thought were the overall fan favorites. This is tough since, if you're a long-time, die hard, Boston based Aerosmith fan like I am, then you wouldn't mind hearing them skip some of their greatest, best known songs like "Walk This Way" for "Jaded". Both songs are classics yet I've heard "Walk This Way" so many times that I'd prefer to be J-J-J-Jaded instead. Same goes for swapping "No More, No More" for "Dream On". Even though I think "Dream On" is their swan song and probably will be the fan favorite here, I still love hearing those early, lesser played gems like "No More, No More", and "Mama Kin". I was surprised that "When The Lightning Strikes"l "Chip Away the Stone" and particularly "One Way Street" were left off the list. I guess Aerosmith has so many great classics that it's tough to narrow them down into a bracket. Hope I win since I need a break. Whoever does is going to have one hell of a time!! My all time favorite song Is Train Kept a Rollin..Nothing like rockin out to that song, Second favorite is Kings and Queens. I cannot wait to see Aerosmith in Chicago, all ready have my tickets but back stage passes would be the bomb! I have never seen them before in concert and it is a complete dream of mine before I am dead to get the chance to rock out with them. I always thought my greatest accomplishment was donating a kidney to my brother 6 yrs ago...BUT going to the concert and seeing Steven in action is right up there with donating a kidney :)

I really hate my pics, but I'm assuming that a majority of people who enter this will be people who only know Aerosmith from the 90's on. If I had MY way, I would have picked Kings and Queens, Round and Round, Seasons of Wither, The Other Side, You See Me Crying, No More No More, and Mama Kin in the first round. It would be my daughter's biggest dream come true to meet Steven Tyler. She has been an Aerosmith fan forever and she knows every word to every song ! She cannot wait until she's old enough to go onto American Idol. She idolizes every step, breath and whatever else of Steven Tyler....she evens celebrates his birthday every year by making him cupcakes, lighting a candle and singing to him....if he could only hear her.

This was tough! In some of the brackets it was like Sophie's Choice! I kept going back and forth between the songs that I love vs. the songs that I thought most people would pick. My top 3 have always been Walk This Way, Dream On, and Sweet Emotion. There really isn't one I can say is my favorite. It just depends on my mood that day (or that moment). I would love to go to the Aerosmith concert July 21st in Philadelphia. I am out of work and unable to afford the concert., Maybe I'll end up scalping like I did in 1993, but right now the concert is out of reach for me. I use to exercise to the Big Ones daily. I admire Aerosmith for going to rehab and sending the message to teens and those with addictions that rehab is in. . Steven Tyler's voice sounds beautiful like his father in Just Push Play (Fly Away from here) as well as excellent piano, and guitar. I hope you choose me should there be a tie. Thanks!

In my opinion, Sweet Emotion is the most kicking ass song of Aerosmith. It developed has a chord pattern by Tom Hamilton and conquered a whole generation of fans and non fans of the band. It´s an all time classic.

I spent an hour comtemplating which songs I should pick for each individual bracket XD It took a while, but I eventually made my picks, and I think that they're pretty good. (Although I did pick the 'champion' song based on my personal opinion, just because it's my favorite :D)

Ok, not sure who paired these songs but you should have done the bracket by old vs old and new vs new until the last rounds where the winner is chosen, I've been Aerosmith diehard since the first time I heard "Walkin the dog" before most of you clowns were born. which isn't even in this bracket. I really like Old School and most of the new stuff but IDWTMAT against Back, both great songs but Back will win with old school everytime so your bracket isn't based on how good the song is it is based on how old the person is picking! and where the hell is Amazing (my personal life anthem) behind Dream On it could be one of the best songs ever written.

Saw Aerosmith in the 70s 3 times. Was lucky to see them at their club Mama Kin in Boston right before it closed, it was right before 9 Lives came out. Was like hitting the lottery. Did not know, they were announcing it on the radio that the g-spots were playing there that night. Tickets were 7 dollars. I was born in 1986, so even though im a "young-in" i've always loved Aerosmith since I can remember. Aerosmith is more than a band to me. My dad passed away may 7th 2010 and I never got the chance to see Aerosmith with him plus I never had my father daughter dance either. But thanks to Aerosmith I can dance with my dad any time I want. Thank you Aerosmith for working hard and making it in the music industry. P.S You were the first concert I attended and I dressed like a groupie and stuffed my bra because it was 3 days before I turned 11 years old. The date was January 9th, 1997 at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland Maine. Thank you again for being Aerosmith.

I had a very hard time deciding between Sweet Emotion; What it Takes; and Living On the Edge... Love them all and having them on the same section only in round one and 2... made it very hard to chose. Lol And surprised to see that Amazing and Janie's Got a Gun are not here. Love them all though!

I am SOOOOOO freakin excited that Aerosmith is coming to Dallas! I can't wait to see them! Winning would only be icing on the cake!!!! I am so inspired by Steven Tyler. He has been to hell and back and is at the top of his game!! He ROCKS! Aerosmith ROCKS!!!!!!
